Mention Mod

As suggested by @charliem  I have installed the Mention Mod!  When you want to mention someone simply type @ and start typing their user name and it will prompt you with suggestion!

Does not seem to work for me. I don't see the underlined tag and I don't find any "mention" options in my profile settings. I did receive the email notification from Paul's tag message. Still looking.

Same here, @charliem. The email notification works, but I don't see a way to modify any settings and I received only one notification in "messages".

As you can see in the quote your @charliem tag you sent does not show up as a tag when I receive it. It also did not trigger an email as Paul's do. The tags from Paul look much like an underlined link. I'm wondering if Paul has to authorize all users access or if it is set to only allow him to tag. I tried researching the online help and the SMF website but couldn't find any reference to the mention/tag function. Try tagging me directly and separately and I'll watch for it. A really neat function if it works.

@charliem This is the mod I am using https://www.smfpacks.com/mentionsmod/  I opened a ticket with their support to have help. It seem like it's only me that can use it

The popup comes up when typing  Merlin and charliem but not for Paul. I'll see if the email notification works.

I can now set email and/or PM notification for tags in my profile settings. Getting closer, Paul.

@Paul and @charliem , I'm now getting both a message and an email when tagged and the auto fill works for your forum name when I start typing with the @. Looks like it's working!
