Taking delivery

I'm due to take delivery of a 2018 Camplite 16DBS in a few weeks.  This is my first RV purchase. 

Is it reasonable/customary to do the walk thru/function-testing session BEFORE I sign the final papers and pay for the trailer?

IMO it is mandatory.

I second that, make the dealer go through all aspects of the trailer, water pump, furnace, a/c, ect, ect, ect,

Wasn't on the lot.   I ordered it, so I haven't seen it yet. 
Wanted to get the protocol straight......congrats to you too!  Hope we both get close to flawless units.

I haven't seen mine yet either! Bought it sight unseen. Knew exactly what I wanted, and when I saw it online I made a call. I'm driving 1000 miles to get it, so it's going to be a doozie of a maiden voyage for this newbie.  Best of luck to you too Michael.
