I bought a cheap camera on eBay with a wifi video transmitter and I was thinking of glueing the camera or using some kind of adhesive instead of drilling holes. What should I use? It's not a really expensive camera about 15$ to replace so I am not too worried if I loose it.

Auto parts stores sell double-sided tape designed for trim. With good surface prep it's pretty tenacious stuff.

As is 3M "SuperLok" heavy duty Velcro-like tape. I think they sell it in small amounts at Home Depot.

Use tape suggested above, then cover the taped base with self-leveling RV roof caulk. Once that sets, it won't come off!

I just bought a camera. I thought the camera was to go below the rear marker lights?  I  bought a TadiBrothers   digital wireless system (E-C-16), military grade wireless camera with 7" wireless display - able to handle 4 cameras - bought ONE camera.

I plan on removing my medicine cabinet in 21RBS bath.  I can get 12 volt  power to the camera from the bath fan placing a switch at fan to turn off the camera when not in use.  I do not want to take power from the marker lights because  I would have to turn on the truck lights to power the camera.   We plan on using system while on highway.  Hope to take pictures of project and post when done.

Worst possible setup may be having to use wire-mold on the ceiling to run power to camera.

I also ran 12V power to the rear view camera from a separate switch in the bath fan housing. Works great. My camera is mounted on the roof; actually bolted to the rear-most Maxxair vent cover. Because both the switch and the camera are in such close proximity, it was easy to snake some wire loom between the 2 and make a nice clean installation.

Do you have picture of that setup? I was actually thinking of the possibility to bolt my camera to my Maxxair vent cover. Also would like to know how you fished the wire and switch from the vent fan

So I went the DYI route. I bought a WIFI Video transmetter and a camera. I took the power from the clearance light

I forgot to take a picture of it after I put everything toguether, I have put some caulking back too. I will take a picture next time I go back. Everything works I can see the camera on my phone. The only thing is I haven't decided where to put the camera as you can see on the first picture the mount for the camera is flat and not really good so it's hard to place it and have a good view. I might get a longer cable and put it on the bumper instead.

I did a hole on the clearance light to get the wire out.

Looks like you got setup ok! I can't send pics right now anyway since I'm away from my computer. It's cool you can see the camera on your phone.

I got a different model of camera, the other one I had didn't had a adjustable bracket. But I kept the same wifi video transmitter. I finally decided to screw the camera to the trim near the edge of the roof.

The quality of the image doesn't seem to be that good, but I forgot to check if I could change the quality of the image on the app

I wasn't sure how to adjust the height of the camera both picture are not taken at the same height. I will have to wait that I am on the road to see what's best and to adjust it.
