We are considering parting ways with our toyhauler to make room for another unit dedicated to camping such as a Camplite 16TBS.
This was one of the last of the originals before the buyout by Thor.
We purchased it for transporting art to shows which we only did a couple of times. It has never had any type of vehicle in it except for our tandem bicycle.
Will consider trade for the right 16TBS with dual axles.
Trailer is located in Louisiana

The tip out tent is in new condition.
Always stored under roof.
13,5000 Dometic rooftop AC
Bright Dip aluminum Accent (lower outside body)
Screwless exterior option.( have a bag of screws onboard just in case)
Rear pull down screen.

I have done numerous upgrades, here are a few:
Axle lift kit for additional ground clearance.
Custom aluminum storage trays in front cargo storage area.
Aluminum helmet rack. (blanket storage)
Aluminun workstation (coffee pot area)
Maxx air vent covers.
Air conditioner upgraded to eliminate the short cycling problem common in small trailers where the cool air is recirculated into the return air.
Led bulbs installed in ceiling lights.
Custom aluminum mount on roof with Winegard Rayzar Auto antenna.
Custom stainless stove cover for additional workspace.
Custom aluminum battery tray to lower battery into tongue which allows storage door to be opened without removing battery.
Custom cabinet door built by Challenger Doors to replace blank panel below sink.
Digital heater thermostat.
Ramp door cable system to convert door to deck.
Battery disconnect switch.
Trimetrics battery monitor.
Indoor/outdoor temperature.
Sensa tank tanks monitor system.
Under awning Boogey Lights led light system with remote.
Upgraded cast aluminum led cargo lights.
Interior under cabinet cargo net.
Extra Dc outlets.
Added an additional sewer hose storage tube under trailer.
1000 watt inverter with remote on/off switch and outlet in kitchen area.
New tires 1000 miles ago.
Replaced spare with an original aluminum Lynx mag and oem tire.
Replaced hot water heater anode.
Installed filter on water supply to toilet.

The 6x15 trailer is going to a good home today, after looking at the title and registration it is actually a 2014 model.

Congrats on the sale! Have you picked out a new camper yet?
We're loving our 16TBS but do wish it had the dual axles.

We settled on a R-Pod 180. I drove to Texas and picked it up, sold the Livin Lite then we headed to Colorado an hour later. I sold the Livin Lite for $4000.00 more than the R-Pod cost me.
It is perfect for a couple, full dry bath with sink and shower, queen bed, small dinette, the same air conditioner that was on the Livin Lite but has the remote thermostat and the auto cycle turns the unit off and on, also it's much quieter inside.
We spent our first night in it two days ago and it's nice not sleeping in the flip out tent.
I would hope Livin Lite designs a "pod" type trailer like these one day, I kind of like the single axle setup, it pulls great with no sway behind a Tundra.
We looked at the 16TBS and I decided I didn't want to go wider than 6.5 or 7ft the little pod is 6.5ft wide and I'm loving the extra 2-3 extra mpg.

Cool and congrats on the new camper! I'm wondering though - the online specs says the Rpod is 96" wide making it 7', the same as the 16TBS. Is that right?

Davidb

The pod or main body is 77" wide, the 96" is the dimension to the outside of tires, the TBS has the wheels under the trailer whereas the R-pod and the 6x15 have the wheels on the outside of body.

When we went to purchase the R-Pod our local dealer said they wouldn't have one until the end of the year, we had no choice but to drive two hours to Texas and purchase it over there.

Our new R-pod 180 made the trip to Colorado and back with very few issues, the hot water heater won't light and the batteries wont charge through the inverter on shore power. I made some calls to the manufacturer of the trailer and the appliances and got zero help.

When we returned home I called the local R-Pod dealer and asked if I could get it serviced and they said no problem, I brought the trailer to them and the service manager asked me where I purchased it, I explained to him I was ready to purchase the R-Pod from them but they didn't have one for the foreseeable future. He said they will not service a trailer that was not purchased from them.

Every time I had a question about my Livin Lite I could call or e-mail  the factory and get a response within hours.
As soon as Livin Lite comes up with a cool small travel trailer I will dump this Forest River product immediately and purchase another Livin Lite.

Yes, the R-Pod is neat, but there is absolutely no support out there, they are simply too big to address any concerns from their customers.

Sincerely,
Temporary non Livin Lite Owner

A sad state of affairs. Is there another Forest River dealer near you? Camping World sells R-Pod so they may be willing to help if there is a CW near?  Otherwise I guess you have to drive 2 hours back to the selling dealer for warranty work?

Thanks Merlin,
After calculating the time off from work to go and drop off the trailer and then another trip possibly weeks later to pick it up I decided to tackle the problems myself.
I ordered all the parts I think I need to fix the water heater, it's probably just the auto ignite circuit board so I ordered one from Dinosaur Electronics http://www.dinosaurelectronics.com/, it is quite an upgrade to the original Chinese board that comes in the Suburban hot water heater.

I will also yank the entire WFCO inverter system and install a Progressive Dynamics system like I had in the Livin Lite.
I am sure any dealer would weasel out of billing Forest River and I'd probably get stuck with a $1200.00 bill for $300.00 worth of parts.

Hello Livin Lite, how about your designers coming up with some competition for the little camper market!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll buy the first one.

Paul

Wow that is really too bad! I was lucky I bought my livin lite 10 hours away from home in Québec since there was no Livin lite dealer in New Brunswick at the time. I was lucky I found a dealer in my hometown that is willing to do maintenance work on it and they are great. I tried a different dealer first and they caused me a lot of trouble because I didn't bought it there just to get the safety inspection done on it making me wait for a long time and wasn't able to provide any apointment, they said drop it here and we'll do it when we have time and it took a really long time! Then the next year I switched to that dealer that was able to give apointment with a date and time and it worked well! No more waiting for weeks!
