Etrailer for the tires, good price's a variety of tires and free shipping. I took them to the local tire shop for mounting and balance. It was about $40 with the tax.

Well I am going to have to take it to a tire shop but will stand there and make sure they put the jack in the correct place.  I got the Maxxis 8008 in today and they are made in Thailand, not China.  Discount Tire Direct was a really good deal with the $100 dollars off(President day sale).
79$ x 4 plus tax=343 -100=243 plus $60 installation and $16 for stems=319

After having the tires put on at Discount tires, I kept the old tires.  Put then up for sale on line and got 80$ for them in no time. So 319 -80$ =239$  a great deal.  Also Discount tires put high pressure metal valve stems as part of the installation of tires.  Another plus was Discount Tire Direct sent me my 100$ rebate 12 days after I mailed  in the paper work.

Just a quick update: The current issue of Trailer Life magazine noted that Goodyear just released a line of U.S. made radial trailer tires named Endurance. No reviews yet, but may end up being another alternative to cheap China-made trailer tires?

On other sites such as the Goodsam forums and IRV2, people seem to be having good experiences with the endurance tires so far; of course it is early.  The Endurance tires along with the Carlisle Radial Trail HDs seem to be providing really good service based on what people are posting.  The Maxxis 8080 tires are up there too.  I have the Carlisle Radial Trails on my 21BHS and they've been great for the last year and a half so far.  I would be tempted to try the Endurance tires next time.

Eventually enough of the Endurance tires will be sold on the Tire Rack for them to post reviews and ratings. It's good to know that other forums have some positive posts about them. My move to radial Maxxis 8080 tires was probably the single best mod I have done to our camper in terms of safety, reliability, and towability. They are so much better than the Lionshead bias ply tires that came on our camper it isn't funny.

Agree.  I feel the same way about the Carlisle Radial Trails I got.  Good tires make a big difference, including peace of mind.
