I've been looking at a used 2013 Campsite Livin Lite.  I'm a little mystified that I can barely find any information on this particular model year.  Is there a reason for this? Is it that very few were made?  What was it about that particular model year that makes information on it so elusive. I can't find any reviews, any youtube videos, very few sellers or previous/current owners.

This model year has the bunks closer to the door and the dinette more in the back.  Anyone have any opinions about this layout in this or any other trailer?

Thanks all! Hope to hear some news on this TT.

No advice in the BHB, but my 2013 16DB was flawless.     I never had a single issue and towed behind my old Nissan Frontier perfectly without any swaybar, etc.

That's the one I'm interested in......but.....crickets otherwise....so weird in this day and age

Dear doore75 - the 2013 models were built by Livin Lite under Scott Tuttle's ownership. Since then, Thor has bought Livin Lite and made a lot of changes in the materials used. There will be only info presented by owners from that year. Thor is not about to help.

You will find aluminum cabinets that will not warp like wood cabinets. You will have an aluminum roof and an aluminum floor. The previous owner will most likely have already dealt with minor problems like aluminum shavings inside light fixtures, etc. You will find an aluminum frame and aluminum exterior that takes automotive paint, so you could even paint it to match your tow vehicle. I believe the delivered weight of these units was about 3,000 lbs.

Make a deal with the owner and get that used Camplite while you can. Of course, you should take a careful look at the interior before you buy. Practically all of us with Camplites purchased before Thor purchased Livin Lite are really happy with our campers.

Our 14 DBS was made in 2013, no problems.
We love it, just got back from a weekend getaway.
Happier with each trip.
You cannot beat the  peace of mind that goes with an all aluminum camper.
We have over 20000 miles and have never looked back on our purchase.

2013 BHB 16 here!   Ordered it in March with custom paint and interior finishes, didn't take delivery until August.  We LOVE it!!   We got the off-road package and rarely stay in an actual campground.  Double battery, double propane tanks, bike hitch, solar charger.  The spare tire fell off in Death Valley taking it down a 4WD trail.  Only one major problem - the refrigerator.  We had the whole cooling unit replaced and it still didn't work properly.  I finally downloaded the manufacturers specifications and found that it should have been installed with venting on the roof.  We installed a fan with a temp gauge and it runs almost constantly, kind of a battery drain if we're not careful.  But it finally works.  Other than that, most of the windows have started cracking from the bottom up.  Not sure if that's because we store it outside near the ocean, or just all those rough roads.  They're still waterproof.  If I could change anything it would be where the awning arm goes down over one of the windows, would love to sleep with the windows open at night without worrying about the awning flying off in the wind.  We added a flip-down counter extension for more counter space, thicker foam cushions, LED lights, foam flooring, and customized the cabinet interiors,

We've had 4 years of adventures all over the west and have no plans to trade it in anytime soon!

Leslie: Did you have yours repainted?

I have some silly scratches I need to repair and am working on getting the OEM touchup paint from the company that provides the aluminum exterior paneling. But would like any tips others have as well.

We get a lot of questions concerning touch-up paint.  Livin'Lite is unique in our color offerings across the different product lines.
Sooner or later you're going to get a scratch on your camper and may wonder if touch-up paint is available.

Touch-up paint is available for Livin'Lite products through Rollie Williams Paint Spot. http://www.rwps.com/ located in Elkhart Indiana at 1179 Kent Street Tel: (574) 264-3174.
You will need to know the color of your camper.  It should be on the bill of sale or title.
