Going to have to replace toilet on 21bhs 2013.
Leak is inside the hose of commode. Any suggestions?
Must have been some water left last time we camped.

So are you saying that this is a freezing problem and it is in a hose? First you don't need to replace the toilet and it may not be a hose.

What often gets damaged in a freezing situation is not the hose since it will easily expand when water trapped inside freezes, it is the flush valve. The flush valve is on the back right side of the toilet where fresh water enters from the back and the valve when actuated by the foot pedal flows up to the rim of the toilet.

The valve can be bought on Amazon for about $30. To remove you first disconnect the two hoses and then depress the two locking tabs on the sides and pull it out. Then pop new one in its place and reconnect the hoses.

To keep it from freezing next time, presumably if you are using the blow through approach, as the RV antifreeze approach will solve it automatically, is to disconnect the hoses, pull the valve out as if you were going to replace it, let the water in the hoses drain out and then blow out whatever water is trapped inside. Pouring a tablespoon full of antifreeze into the valve while depressing the actuator will make sure it can't freeze up.

Perhaps this is only a Canadian phenomenon, but now that we are 'hooked', Amazon can no longer be trusted to be the least expensive.  RV wise, my local store is beating Amazon in pricing, some times by a lot! And when something is a few dollars more, I'm still further ahead overall. When I went there to purchase my toilet water valve, they had many of the dometics in stock. Seems like many RVer's learn to properly winterize after the toilet valve freezes! LOL GK

For sure Amazon is not even usually the least expensive anymore! Convenient, safe, and fast, sure, but not lowest cost. It reminds me of the old saying: "You can have it cheap, fast, high quality. Pick any 2." I link to Amazon as examples, but I realize I should also link to the rvupgradestore and camping world and the Tire Rack, etc.

I do a little different: I put a stick down the toilet to open the valve and a brick on the pedal which ensures the valve stays open and keeps air in the valve after blowing out the water.  Haven't had a problem since.

Thank you all!
My boys were in a spring break baseball tournament in Biloxi. We could not find the part at the camping world there so my husband ran a water hose with some fittings over to the shower to keep water out of the floor for a get by situation. Got home and ordered the part should be in today.
Thank you all for the help!
