Hello.  New to the forum, and I have no idea if this is a needle in a haystack kind of search...  Looking for a 13BHB w/ the Optional Fold Out Bunk for our family of 5 to tow with a minivan!

I have another post in another thread asking if it's possible to retrofit this Fold Out Bunk in place of the cabinets -- so if you have any leads on that angle, please let me know.

Thanks!

Jonathan

Patience is a virtue.  They are out there.  Believe it or not there was one on FB Marketplace two months ago just outside of Nashville, TN that sold pretty quickly.  keep looking.  Use searchtempest.com to search craigslist nationwide.  Tip you have to do three keyword searches on searchtempest.  "livin lite"  "livinlite" (no space) and "Camplite"  Craigslist is funny about how it searches.  I've seen some on one keyword and not on another.   Keep searching on RVtrader.com and RVT.com two websites that a lot of RV dealers post to.

Don't think it is something you can retrofit with a tip out.  Too much structural integrity would be compromised.

Good Luck.

Thanks for the encouragement.  I'll keep an eye out..

In the meantime, I may have been a little unclear about the bunk I'm looking to retrofit -- Not a "tip out", but the bunk seen in the video here at 3:00

I hope that helps.  Thanks!

Gotcha.  I'm sure it can be done but the key will be to ensure the anchors in the side walls are secured into the metal framing.  You saw the reinforcing plates with what looks like pop rivets.  There may be something in the forum in the mods section.  Good luck with the search.

Hi. Here is a picture of what we did in our 13bhb for the 3rd kid. It was small but ok. (Sorry for my english I speak french)

Merci!  This is perfect!

I will send you a DM if you would be willing to send me some more information about this.  Small is OK -- the 3rd kid is young enough to fit in that for a while!

It will be a pleasure but it's gonna be my husband who will replie since I have no idea how he did it :)

Hi. I dont know why but I cant find a way to attached pictures in DM.
So here is a second picture of the aluminium parts we fixed on both walls each side. And then we asked a welder to build the bed frame with aluminium. So the bed was simply drop on those 2 aluminium parts each side.
Our model was the old one (like the second picture).so my husband says that it could be different in the new model .
Hope it helps. Do not hesitate if you need more information.
