Hi,

I am looking to buy a CampLite 21bhs.  I have wanted to buy one for quite a while and now I have the cash there are none to be found.  My email is below if anyone has one for sale.

There is one thing about the '18 21BHS that needs to be checked out before purchase. You can see in the specs of the one listed the black tank is a bit larger than the grey tank. At some point, LL changed the plumbing to have the toilet AND the shower go into the black tank, leaving only the kitchen sink into the grey tank. That is very poor design, because the limiting factor in camping is the grey tank capacity. As well, if the grey tank has only the kitchen grey water in it, there may not be enough to flush the sewer hose at the dump station after emptying the black tank. One member on here went to extraordinary effort to re-plumb the lines so the grey tank took the shower water. I don't know for sure if this one is plumbed badly, but caveat emptor (which translates into caveating the emptying process before purchase). Especially at that crazy asking price.

I would also verify that the recall was done to it.

The price seems high.  I cannot imagine paying over 30K,  what do you think that one is worth?

I think it's worth approximately $22k.  Look at NADA for pricing.  I don't think it even retailed for that new in 2018 even with a Platinum package.  I could be wrong.

If the recall was done and it is in new condition, I'd say $25K max based on what I've seen others going for.  But, that is just my opinion; others may have another idea as well.

Neal,
Just to put their price in perspective, I found an old ad for a new 2018  23 RKS Platinum.  The dealer listed it for $33,995.  While not "Apples to Apples" It does provide some relevant information.  So I would say once again their price is WAAAAY too high.  Sometimes an owners perspective of worth is out of sync with what the market will bear. ;)

There is a 21 bhs on RVTrader right now.  There are a hand full of 16's out there right now.  Someday my 21 RBS will be out there.
