Sylvain

Hello everyone,
I'm Sylvain from eastern Canada.  We are the happy new owner of a 2013 13QBB.  It arrived home a few weeks ago.  The general condition of the trailer is good but it does need some maintenance like recaulking, replacing the old ceiling fan with a Maxxfan, shower floor reinforcement, battery replacement, etc.  We use to travel with a Silver Shadow teardrop trailer by Little Guy so it should be a great improvement.

Regards.......Sylvain

Welcome Sylvain!

Always happy to hear of a fellow forum member from the Great White North. I'm from the west. I never get tired from modding my CL, partly because it will never rust. Consequently, the mods won't be in vain.

Since you're replacing an assumed 12 volt battery, check out going with 2-6 volt deep cycles. Costco has the best price for a relatively good amp hour rating.  If you need help installing, use the forum search function, or just ask the forum. GK

Good to have you on the forum! Thanks for joining.

Look at the area of the forum for owner gatherings, because DavidM and Paul and families are getting together in an eastern Canadian National Park this summer. If that might work out for you too, you could camp with some folks who would be VERY helpful.

Thanks!

thanks also for the battery tip.  I will sure have to make some research on the forum for the new battery since there is also a 160W solar panel already installed on the roof of the trailer but this installation will also need to be carefully verified!!

Thanks Merlin.  The Mauricie National Park is about 5hrs from where I live.  Maybe!

Do join us at Mauricie. We can talk about solar among other things. I have done 5-6 solar installations myself.
