8.1 table for bed doesn't fit

I've never used the drop down table to make an extra bed because when I lower the table onto the rails  and put weight on it the table bends and falls off the rails! Do I just have a defective  table? Does anyone else have this problem when making a bed on the 8.1? I'm guessing it's the same table size on a 8.0 too? Thanks, Dianne

One of the first things we did when we got our used 8.1 in January was to take the table and benches out.  Since it will generally just be my wife and I using it, we can make better use of the space with a folding table, folding chairs, and bins for storage.  However, I did notice that it didn't take much weight for the table to bend a bit and slide off the lip of the benches.  The table seemed pretty flimsy to me.

I used two pieces of 3/4 plywood when we had our 6.0 instead of the table. Worked much better.

I just purchased a 8.1 in PHX and am looking forward to trying it out.  I will test the table and advise if it is the same.  Have fun
