Powder Hounds

Hello Members!

We are getting ready for our five month long winter trip south to Utah, Arizona, and California. Last year we saw very few Camplites, but this year hopefully we will see some more. It is great chatting with fellow owners. We rarely stay in campgrounds (except for The Lost Dutchman State Park) and prefer to take advantage of the fantastic BLM's. We enjoy checking in on the forum to see what new and exciting things fellow owners are doing with their rigs.

Happy Camping!

A couple of pictures to remind us of our Summer Do Over.

Why we leave Alberta.

Sounds like another great adventure coming up. By all means check back in, with photos. In that season, many of us have to get our camping vicariously through folks like you!

Happy Camping!! Safe travels. Thanks for the pics. I will be dreaming of your warm weather adventures as you are southward bound.

Yes, Lost Dutchman State Park (outside of Apache Junction, AZ) is a treasure! We are permanently located in that area now and will be living in our camper (at an RV Park looking at those same Superstition Mountains) through the fall and winter while the home we just purchased is being remodeled. If you should happen to be in this area while on your trip, send me a PM and we can connect somewhere!

Thank you!

We really enjoy the Superstition area, there is a little BLM spot just past Tortilla Flat that we spend a week or so at. Great local hiking and fabulous kayaking on Canyon, Apache Lakes. We head down to Tuscan after that for a bit then we will be returning to the Lost Dutchman for Christmas. Sounds like a great idea!

Sounds like a good plan. Looking forward to seeing some pics.

The BLMs are great but if you are traveling through Oregon I highly recommend the State Parks.

We will be moving around AZ state parks near Phoenix and Tucson January through February and end up as far west as Ajo in March.  This will be our first long term glamping experience while attempting to put down the first chapters of our 300 mile summer kayak adventure. #KayakRiverOfLife

How do you find the Camplite for long term use?
