Hello,

glad I found this, I was narrowed down to ATC and Livin Lite, either the 26 Quicksilver or the Ford 26 model. After reading not quite all the posts on Livin Lite, I take it they are not all aluminum and something changed on the roof and floor.

Sounds like they are going in the wrong direction, and what the hell is wrong with this Thor company churning out garbage.

The all aluminum, the roof and the rot free was the selling point, not really the plain jane decor and horrible looking couches etc...

Well I guess my decision is made, ATC or Sundowner if I decide to go 5th wheel are the choices. I could buy LL for less money and ATC does not offer a porch railing kit. At least for now ATC hasn't sold out to Thor and they still are all aluminum.

Thanks for any added input.

I wouldn't run away from living' lite just yet. You can still order the aluminum interior, the roof is TPO, but it is over composites not wood. Go and look at a dealership for yourself.

The toy haulers still have an aluminum floor. The travel trailers now have plastic one. They all have rubber roofs.

Thor is doing everything they can to reduce the cost of materials and labor on livin lite trailers. The price will go up though and the campers are slowly becoming nothing special, oh well :(

just looked up the ATC... They have a monopoly if they continue doing what they are doing. Too bad they don't do regular campers.
