Hello Aluminites.

Just a quick review of the double folding steps from Range Kleen. After our recent eight day CO/UT trip ( https://aluminumcamperforum.com/index.php?topic=688.msg4863#msg4863 ), we have decided that these steps are so hands down great, that I will probably 86 my planned 'step repositioning mod' https://aluminumcamperforum.com/index.php?board=7.0 and remove the factory step altogether (yay! More ground clearance).

Regardless of what angle we were parked, the Range Kleen steps were always within +/- 1" of the factory step, making it redundant. We always camp in remote spots that are never quite flat, but uneven ground turned out not to be a problem for these steps. I was always easily able to shore up the footing for a secure and even step. They seem nearly as solid, and notably easier to use than the stock step.

The way they unfold to open and lock and then fold flat again is pretty slick, and their folded dimensions make it easy to slide them under the fridge right n the entryway. I wish I could embed a video in this post, but I made an animated GIF instead. At $40, I highly recommend trying them out, if only to have an excellent camp stool/step. At 6 lb and 18" tall (9" per step), and a broad step surface, they worked wonderfully for us. Bear in mind that my wife, dog, and I combined weigh less than their 300 lb weight rating.
