Hello friends-

We just brought home our first TT this week. We found (only 40 miles from home in Minneapolis), a 2016 13QBB, which is the perfect size and layout for us.

During the walk-through I noticed it has a Dexter 4400 axle and 15" wheels. That seems odd from everything I've read, but I don't think that should be a problem, right? I can only think wheel well clearance might be an issue. Tire size is 225/75R15. I could always size down to 205's and save a half inch..

It has the aluminum roof, and the original style cabinets. Build date is 8-15.

Started my research on RV's almost a year ago. In my opinion, it paid off, because we found a winner!

I appreciate all the info this forum has to offer. Looking forward to the many excursions to come!

Welcome and Yea!

Based on what you've discovered so far, I'd say your QBB has the Off-Road Package. You're lucky to have the 15 inch wheels because there are so many good tires available in that size. The first number on the tires is the width in mm, so downsizing one notch won't gain you much in wheel well clearance. The second number is the ration of width to height, so going to a 225/70/15 would give you a smaller diameter tire by about an inch.

Looking forward to the trips reports!
