I have used Expedition series RV Cover for my 21BHS for about 2 and half years, the wind and weather has caused the top material to become fussy and fall apart. Any recommendations on a cover that lasts? We get a lot of wind were the camper is stored. I'm still researching other materials and brands. Just wondering what others have used if anything. My other plan is to keep the camper washed and I keep it waxed with good quality car wax. The aluminum roof, I just keep it washed. Not sure waxing it is needed? Any thoughts and ideas please let me know.

We have kept our 16TBS outside and uncovered for three winters here in Connecticut. No wax, no nothing. At the end of the winter I check for any leaks and so far none. That is one reason why we bought an aluminum trailer with nothing to rot inside if we did have a leak. Works fine for me.

David, thanks for the reply. Our initial thought with a cover was that it would help reduce the weather effect and sun on paint, decals, windows. I found the cover rubbed  a few spots in the paint that left a mark. Definitely some Pro's and Cons for using a cover or not. We purchase our livin lite for same reason, no wood, and not funky off gassing of glues and chemicals that you smell in other campers. It's easy to maintain and if a leak comes nothing really hard to fix or worry about being damaged.

This is the one we have for our 21BHS.  I just put it on a month ago so no long term report.  But so far it seems pretty nice.

I used 2 pool noodles at the bottom rear areas so the fabric did sit on a sharp edge of the camper.

Just a quick note......don't wax the roof. The aluminum would be dangerously slippery if it was waxed and you needed to get up there. Washing (or painting as we did) is fine. Your car wax job on the painted sides/ends will definitely help the paint last longer, so that's fine.
