My CD player seems to have stopped working.  It has power, the CD just won't spin.  It wiggles a little when it tries to start up, and then stops.  I think that the drive motor went up.

Anyone have recommendations for a replacement, or ideas for how to repair?  It is a "Dual" XD1228.  In addition to being a radio and CD player, it also has a USB charger port and auxiliary input that I often use.

I have an "RV Forever" policy, but I don't think that it covers the radio.  If anyone thinks otherwise, please chime in.

Amazon replacement of your choice, less than $100. Well less.

Any single-din car stereo with bluetooth, USB, and DVD will do.

It's not worth repairing, even if possible. Crutchfield has all the details/features for a bunch of replacement possibilities.

After taking the CD player unit apart, I got the same impression.  It might be possible to get some of the surface mount connectors disconnected, but it seemed impossible to get them back together again without breaking something else.  I was glad to see that I could get a replacement for $100 or less.  Thanks for the link.  I'm wondering if they all have the same connector. Some of the items that I saw online seemed to have a connector similar to what I already have.

On the lighter side, I managed to fix my RV refrigerator today.  It would not work in DC mode.  I read some web articles suggesting that it was either the heating element or the circuit board.  However, after looking at the schematics in the user manual, and probing around with a voltmeter, it appeared that a relay had gone up.  I was able to find a replacement online for around $8 (actually, for two... so now I have a spare).  I'm wondering if something other than normal wear may have caused the relay to go up... the refrigerator is 8 years old.
