What about a solar panel like this?

I too have one of the "Suitcase" panels (80 Watt) and do find it a bit large, this caught my eye a couple of weeks back.

I saw this portable solar panel too.  I wonder if the quality is good.  I think it's not waterproof though.

No, the controller does not look like it is waterproof. You need all wires to the controller to be encapsulated with epoxy so all wire connections are external for it to really be waterproof. Morningstar makes one of the few really waterproof controllers.
