I was at the RV show in Austin,TX today.  I spoke to the people at Princess Craft RV  and ask why they did not have any Livin Lites at the show.  They said they were not getting anymore in stock as Livin Lite was shutting down.  Can anyone else contact a dealer and see if this is true.

Yes, it's true. There's another thread in this forum about it.

That article is a very nice wrap up of the rise and fall of LivinLite. Told from a truck camper perspective, yes, but everything said about truck campers also applies to trailers.

The closing two paragraphs sum up what probably happened and laments LL's passing:

"It's more likely that LivinLite RV and CampLite and Ford truck campers died of neglect.  Scott Tuttle was the visionary who believed in his company and made it successful.  His original management and production teams believed in him and his vision.  Their focused determination and winning culture resulted in a nearly unprecedented multi-year growth story.  Without Scott and his passionate team, LivinLite, CampLite, and Ford truck campers were doomed.

Sadly, this concludes the story of one of the most dynamic and exciting truck camper manufacturers of the past decade.  What a waste."

Yes, what a waste. Fortunately for us earlier adopters the LL brand is still strong and our Scott Tuttle era campers should stay in high demand on the used market.

It's aggravating as hell.  A good product with a solid future massacred by inept management.  When I go to buy another RV, and I'm sure I will one day, it  won't be a Thor product based on their demonstrated inability to manage.  If they can't manage one brand chances are that they can't manage any brand. The reason they survive is their overwhelming dominance in the marketplace, not their skill.
If it ain't broke it probably will be soon.
