...a new tent for our QS10 and store it away. That's really the only thing that will wear out, that is specific to the LL QS.  At the rate things are are changing, I worry that the dimensions or specs might change to a point where the tent canvas assembly might be difficult to get? I'd like to keep this thing another 5-10 years.

I don't think that's going to be a problem. Livin' Lite doesn't make the tent anyway.
I recently bought a 2014 8.1 that had gotten quite wet inside for quite a while. The tent, cushions and tonneau cover were all ruined. I had to get the tonneau from Livin' Lite, but since we have the "old style" 8.1, they no longer provide that tent. They referred me to Top Stitch, who makes the tents. I ordered from Top Stitch and got a better price than I would have from Livin' Lite.
The tent had to be made to order, but they have the patterns. As long as they are around, the tents should be available.
