Our 2010 Mighty 11 was manufactured August 2010, if I remember what Don @ LL told me. It was a fine camper and had many great adventures with it.

My 2016 Camplite 13QBB was manufactured in March of 2015. I purchased it in December of 2015.  So far, no regrets.
When you come to a fork in the road...just take it!

Our brand spankin' new, (nearly two year old) 2016 13QBB was born in August of 2015. We just picked her up last week.

My custom 21 BHS (tip-out bunk instead of dinette slide-out and dinette in the front in place of the walk-around queen bed are the most noticeable custom requests I made) is a 2015 model, finished building in September 2014, delivered toward the end of October 2014 due to a shortage of drivers available to transport new RVs to the dealers, which was an industry-wide problem then. Do not know if there still exists a shortage of drivers today.

After visiting the factory twice (the new one, not the old one), we ordered our 21BHS in late September of 2015 and it was finished around Thanksgiving. We picked it up from the dealer on December 3. It is a 2016 model. The only Thor changes from the prior models was the kitchen cabinets, which are fine. We wanted aluminum cabinets but they weren't into offering any options at that time and wouldn't do it. Overall we love our camping trailer and use it a lot!

Manufacture date of 8/2014.

We visited the factory (original one) around the time we ordered. We ordered our 2015 16TBS in August of '14 and it was delivered in October of '14.

If you'll indulge a tiny rant.........the factory operations at the time threw up lots of red flags for me. The campers were moved from building to building for installations of different systems. Each building was a bit of jumble of parts and tools and each installation (plumbing, electrical, kitchen, etc.) was pretty much a one-off type of thing. I certainly had the impression that no one was paying attention to the overall assembly operation and quality checks. That sort of jumbled assembly showed up in ours as lots of quality control issues needing lots of remedial work. I think the summer/fall of 2014 was a rough time at LL.

Our 2017 16 TBS started life in April 2016, purchased December 2016. It seems to have all the new changes - cabinets, floor, TPO roof and single axle.

Since we owned a 2012 13 RDB previously I'm still coming to terms with the changes and haven't fully formed an opinion yet. I'm thinking I might wish for the dual axles (except when it comes time to buy new tires!). While the light colored interior makes it nice and bright it also will show dirt and scuffs I think. And we are dirty, messy campers! Another shortcoming on the 16 TBS are the "mattresses" - pads really. It's a shame to spend the money these campers cost and need to upgrade the mattress right away.

As far as build quality, it seems maybe things were getting better by spring 2016. No aluminum shavings anywhere yet, fit and finish seems good except for one thing....seems all our plumbing joints that had a threaded coupler were loose which caused a leak from the shower pan. The dealer fixed it but it still cost us 2 tanks of gas and a lost day of work. Actually, I'm not sure it's fixed because they re-winterized and I haven't had a chance to test it again since.

All that said, I can't wait to get back out camping again soon! Next weekend maybe....

My 2013 8518 VRV toy hauler has a 3/2012 manufacture date. We purchased it in March 2013. I pulled it out of storage today and went over everything once I had it home. The welds on my VRV look very well done and are complete with no cracks. The manufacture sticker shows a GVW of 6,000 lbs but I have other paperwork that indicates the axles are the Dexter 3,500 lbs axles (dual axle) and I'm sure the dealer (along with the old Livin Lite web site) listed 7,000 lbs GVW for this model. Ran it over a ODOT Highway scale today (they let you run through closed weigh stations in Oregon) and it came in at 3,800 lbs fairly empty. When I have had it completely loaded up with my race car and everything needed for an event it has tipped the scales at 5,800 lbs.
