Blue Ridge Parkway NC

When it gets hot (90F+) in the lower elevations in the Carolinas, we head to the higher elevations to cool off. Enjoy camping at Mount Pisgah campground on the Blue Ridge Parkway NC. This campground does not have electricity,  but they have nice showers. The elevation is 5,000MSL. Great area for hiking, riding motorcycles, and photography.
