Can someone please indicate the required steps for sanitizing the LL water system including the hot water heater? Thanks!

Fill water tank halfway
Add 1 cup bleach for every 10 gallons of tank capacity
Finish filling water tank
Open each cw fixture until you smell bleach
If you must, run hot water through any fixture with burner off and bypass valves set to normal until the hot water tank is full of bleach and you are getting a bleach smell through the hw fixture.
Open each hot water fixture until you can smell bleach
Let sit for 12 hours but no more than 24
Drain hot water tank by opening hw drain valve. Close
Drain cold water by opening drain valve. Close
Drain fresh water tank by opening valve. Close
Fill fresh water tank and flush water through each fixture, hot and cold until you don't smell bleach

As you may note, I don't think it is worth it to sanitize the water heater. I would bypass it like you would do just like winterizing and flush the bleach solution through each hw fixture but not the water heater. Flush out the bleach with the the heater bypassed then open the bypass and fill the hw heater and flush some water through.

I am using a similar procedure than David, but I used a different ratio of bleach I have used the ratio in this article https://blog.campingworld.com/rv-basics/sanitize-your-rvs-freshwater-system-in-5-simple-steps/ which said 1/4 cup of bleach for every 16 gallons of water your fresh water tank holds. I am using the bleach that says disinfecting on the label. I have also bypassed my water heater before putting the bleach.
