Handgun Storage

For the conceal / carry folks like me, I'd like any ideas for how / where you store your personal security device of choice (Glock 19x and S&W Shield Plus in my situation) for nighttime safety and daytime when it is not holstered to your hip.   

We typically stay at higher end luxury resorts (not trying to be a snob in any way - we just prefer the nicer places with paved site pads etc) which should be safer but of course that cuts both ways....  I have a few ideas but before I start drilling stuff I thought I would see if anyone has done anything already.

Nanovault. When traveling through an area without reciprocity, pull the mag and put it in one nanovault, pistol in another. Cable looped around seat track hardware. Satisfies all the state requirements for transporting locked and unloaded.

For inside the trailer, you can drill a single hole through an aluminum frame member in whatever cabinet location you care to, and install an eye bolt to secure the cable.

I mounted a Nano digital vault under the bed in our 16 TBS.  Secured using bar stock aluminum screwed into the aluminum framing.  For traveling in areas without reciprocity I use a second nano vault inside the digital vault for the locked fire arm and ammo separation.
