Faded plastic restoration

Hello everyone,
I was wondering how do you maintain all the exterior plastic trims on your trailer?  The wheel fenders and the entrance door window frame on ours are very faded and seems to be brittle.  I often use 303 to restore the black on the trims but it just don't last.  Most of the 303 will go away with the rain.  I would like something more permanent, if possible.

303 doesn't restore, it protects from UV damage. It only looks like it washes off, but that's because it has a flat, non-wet look when fully dry. In fact, if you over-apply 303 the finish will look like faded wax. If you want to restore plastic, use a product like Wipe New that is designed to make plastic shiny and new-looking again.

Ok thanks Merlin.  Does it bring the dark black color back?  How well does it resist to the rain?

Yup, it restores the black (or silver or white, etc). It definitely resists rain. It's more than just a shiny coating. There are others, but Wipe New did well in Consumers Reports tests.
