« on: August 09, 2020, 05:02:54 PM »

Camplite and Bearcat Modifications / Door under bench
« on: July 09, 2020, 08:55:49 AM »
I am not sure why my unit didn't had door to access the storage under the bench? Maybe it's because I have the aluminum interior? Any recommendation on where I could find doors that fits?

You can only access it by lifting the bench

Camplite and Bearcat Modifications / Bidet
« on: June 15, 2020, 04:14:22 PM »
About three years ago I got a bidet installed at home because we were doing washable diapers. We needed it to well rince the poop before we put it in the washing machine! So one day I was like why not? Itís a bidet after all! Oh my... I was never the same again. I need a bidet now!! So the problem is every time I went camping my only option was toilet paper and I was missing my bidet! Until this year!

General Towing Discussions / Brake cable cut
« on: July 30, 2019, 05:39:39 PM »
I noticed that the cable to the brakes seem like it has a cut on it. The brakes operate as normal. Should I worry or at least tape it?

Tow Vehicles / 2018 F150 XLT Sport 3.5L Ecoboost
« on: March 25, 2019, 11:01:45 PM »
I traded in my 2016 F150 2.7 Ecoboost for a 2018 with 3.5 ecoboost  it comes with factory towing mirrors that are electric and heated which is a big upgrade for me since I had the manual towing mirror on my 2016. It comes with the 302A equipment group.

Can't wait to try out the 3.5 Ecoboost for towing my 21 BHS! The downside my new truck doesn't match my Blue 21BHS.

Will post pic with the trailer when it will be out of storage!

Camping General Discussions / Small fan recommendation
« on: June 26, 2018, 08:40:13 AM »
I am looking for a recommendation for a small fan to put on the night stand next to me in my 21BHS. Either a USB or AC powered one works for me. I want something compact.

Livin Lite General Discussion / A/C hard to turn knob
« on: June 25, 2018, 01:10:26 PM »
My A/C knob are so hard to turn that I can't turn them by hand I have to use a pair of pliers to turn them.

Anyone else has that problem? What should I do to solve it? I have contacted my dealer service department but it's not open today they are going to get back to me tomorrow.

Any advice?

I was at my seasonal site over the weekend and while I was using my A/C + my Electric Water heater the campground breaker tripped. This happened twice. Once I switched Water heater to propane I was fine.  On a 30A circuit I should be able to use my Water Heater on Electric at the same time than my A/C?

Edit: Forgot to mention that I had my refrigerator on electric too

Camplite and Bearcat Travel Trailers / 2018 21BHS tongue weight
« on: May 31, 2018, 09:53:43 PM »
I weighted my tongue with my trailer all loaded up for a trip and the result is 500lbs. I am bit surprised I was expecting more. I will weight it again in September before my next trip

Trip Report/Photos / First shakedown trip with 2018 21bhs
« on: May 29, 2018, 10:09:23 AM »
We did our first shakedown trip on Victoria Day weekend (May 18 to 21) at Kouchibouguac National Park in New Brunswick. The towing from home to the park was about 1:30 the F150 with no WDH handled the ride well. I had someone following me and they said that the trailer was going straight no noticable sway. When we arrived to the campsite we did supper and then a fire. On Sathurday it was Annabelle first birthday we had about 10 guests that came and we did a BBQ. On Sathurday night and Sunday I was sick vomiting :( so that kind of ruined the rest of the weekend. On Monday I was still week but we had to pack and go but I was feeling better.

Annabelle have her own secret spot in the trailer she like to hang out under the dinette table. During nap time we used the play pen on the floor in front of the dinette and at night lowered the table and put the play pen over there.

The trailer layout is perfect for us it really worked well and we are glad of our choice. My wife told me that I did a good choice and that she was really glad. Everything worked well in the trailer the only issue I have found so far is with the mirror it's moving and I was able to remove it from the wall. They seem to have forgot to put one side of the velcro on the wall, both velcro side are on the mirror that doesn't make sense. I think what I'll do is add more velcro and I'll use the industrial one.

Our trailer is now at our seasonal site and we will go this weekend. I am still unsure about WDH or not, next time I will be at the trailer I will weight the tongue.
