To close this one out, yes there must be a ground loop.  I got everything reconnected and the lights started working again.  No blown fuses or any other problems.   The factory wiring was a very poor job under the camper.  I noticed when greasing the bearings this spring that when the suspension is extended the brake wiring is pulled as tight as a guitar string.  It was on my list of things to fix this fall but the tire blowing out sped that up.

Thanks for your input.  Unfortunately the the wiring is different side to side.  The tire that blew has more wires than the others which is why I think there may be a common ground that was broken there.  Yes the lights come from the TV so the only thing everything has in common is a ground.

Before the trip I had pulled the wheels to grease the bearings and noticed all the brake wiring was too short.  IE when jacked up the wiring was pulled tight like a guitar string so I had planned on rerouting things this fall.  This is a 2017 and the build quality was pretty poor unfortunately.

I had a tire blowout on the highway that ripped out the trailer brake wiring (dual axle livin lite 26' toy hauler).  I haven't started to patch it yet but I'm confused because not only did I lose the trailer brakes I also lost all the brake, turn and running lights.  It appears as if only the brake wiring was damaged.  Do the brakes and the lighting all run through a common ground that would cause me to loose everything?  Any other insight.

Unfortunately KZ informed me they have no wiring diagrams for the livin lite product line.
