Livin Lite General Discussion / Re: Screw bit

They are called Roberson bits. As common as phillip head in Canada. Should be easy to find.

I've got a 2015 LivinLite FBR28 Toy Hauler. It has a generator compartment. I don't have a generator or a way to access the compartment. It appears to be a panel that would be cut in, if an owner opted for the gen-set. Has anyone figured this out? I'd like to use it, but don't want to start cutting....

Hitches / Re: ProPride P3 - experience?
October 20, 2018, 02:52:01 PM
I wouldn't call it an issue. I had my weight in the back and had a serious sway. I suspect it was more my issue than the hitch. It was pretty scary. Too fast on a wet road too. Slowing down, loading correctly and some additional usage should go a long way.

Hitches / ProPride P3 - experience?
October 20, 2018, 01:02:26 PM
I picked up a, like new, ProPride (Hensley) hitch for $700. I will to use in on my 26' Livin Lite TH. It's 5400 lb dry on my Land Cruiser TV with 8100lb tow capacity.

At $2600, it might be overkill. For what I paid, it may be worth the peace of mind.

I have a Fastway E2 sway control hitch now. It was a little dicey rolling through busy Chicago freeway traffic.  My wife was is not happy. I assured her that this would help solve the issue, along with correct setup and weight loading.

Fortunately, I picked it up from a former LL owner with the exact same trailer. Has the custom yoke bar mount.

Does anyone here have any experience with this hitch? Good, bad? Advice?

Thanks for asking.

I live near Chicago and use this for motorcycle track days. I go to Gingerman Raceway in South Holland and Gratten Raceway in Belding. I plan to use it more for camping next year. I may buy a side by side. Any suggestions?

First year with a TH. Started with an older TH. After replacing a bunch of the wood, I decided to upgrade to one of the best. I'm happy now.

I am the proud owner of a, new to me, 2015 26' Livin Lite - Front Bedroom Toy Hauler.

I've had it on one trip so far. Chicago to Grand Rapids, MI.

My wife is figuring out how to make it less garage like. I'm scrubbing the forum and love the insights and advice.

I'm a big believer in aluminum, for obvious reasons, over stick and tin.

Thanks for those of you that take the time to post and participate.
