Has anyone successfully polished the diamondplate rock guard and other trim on their QuickSilver, or is it just a waste of time?

I got a response via email from Zebra RV accessories:

There must be no air being "sucked in" from the city water connection. Make sure that the city water fill is securely capped and that all its connections up to the pump are secure.

I guess that means that the city water hose hanging from the faucet must either be connected or capped.

Thanks gents.  I was hoping someone had done this and could list the parts required with progress photos?

Our 2016 doesn't have the propane setup from the factory.  Has anyone retrofitted a safe, reliable system?  I'm considering mounting a squatty 11 lb. propane bottle up on the tongue.

Is there some secret to getting the faucet running from the tank under the sink?  No amount of vigorous pumping seems to have any effect!

I ordered some L-Track and hardware.  In the meantime I temporarily mounted some hefty 1/8"x1" aluminum angle using the factory screws.  Not a great photo, but it worked well on the last trip no problems with our Igloo 120 qt. cooler strapped down with cam buckle straps.

Any idea the specs on the special assembly screws that hold the trim on?  I'd like some spares as some were loose when I checked.

The cover on our (new to us) 2016 8.1 is in OK shape, although it bubbles up in the back with air and flaps in the wind while in transit.  Is that normal or is it worn out?

Nice rig.  Thanks for the photo & great info!

Hi Steve,  I am not familiar with L-Track but have been studying photos and it appears to be a secure solution.  Do you have any photos of your setup and/or recommendations of L-Track attachments?

We have a large marine cooler that I was considering mounting to the rear platform on my 8.1.  Have been seeing marine cooler mounts online made from plastic and a small bungee, but was hoping someone here could make a recommendation?

Thanks!

Please excuse the ignorance:  what is TV you refer to?  I assume *not* television.
