Not a rumor.
I was trying to get the proper break shoes for my TBS 16 and my dealer told me that they will not be making the Livin Lites any longer. You knew Thor would screw it up. Heck they couldn't even tell my dealer what size shoes my camper needs. The only way I will know now is to pull one and take it to a RV service place or dealer  to show them for match up. VERY SAD. I would stay as far away from Livin lite now as I could. Spare parts will become an issue in short notice. THOR SCREWED UP ANOTHER ONE.

Jim T, you might want to give Dexter Axle a call.  I would think they could assist with the shoes you need.

Looks like that would work, but you should check the measurements to make sure it fits.  Was that mounted at the factory?  Mounts usually come with both pieces, so I would have expected them to send you the VESA side of the mount.

I'd say your MPG is pretty good.  I have the same truck, extended cab with full bed and tow a Quicksilver 10.0.  I get about 14-15 MPG.  I have a tonneau cover and the trailer sits a few inches below the top of the bed, so there really isn't much wind resistance.

Welcome to the group.  I'm from the DC area as well.

LOL......Good to hear I'm not the only that's happened to.  The first weekend I had it, I took it up to the local school to practice backing it up.  Was out there for about an hour before I realized I left the jack down.  Luckily I had the offroad kit on that one, so I had some extra height and the jack didn't hit anything.

The lift kits I've seen are bolt on.  I actually need to give Dexter a call to spec out the parts.  Here's another thread on the same discussion, with links to pics.

I might be interested in a S.E. meetup.  I'm out of southern Maryland with a 10.0 and am currently planning for some trips down that way this summer.

I really like the 6.0.  I'd be looking for a used one if I had the space to store it.  It's perfect for those weekends when it's just the wife and I.

Hi Jeepsk8.  I'd be happy to answer any specific questions you have.

The issues with the 2018 10.0 I had weren't completely about the composite floor, but after discovering the floor change I started going through the camper to compare it to earlier models, and soon realized they made a lot of other subtle changes with the 2018s, most of which I wasn't happy about.  The floor in mine did have more give than I would have liked, and I was able to feel the frame underneath, but I attribute that to large spans in the frame, not so much the composite floor.  I just think I got a really bad build and I've spoken with several 2018 owners who've been very happy with theirs and haven't experienced the same issues.

I definitely would not anchor anything directly to the floor or Azdel walls, unless you're able to tap into aluminum.  Some have seen this in the new 10.0s, on the wall with the bench.  When getting in and out of the camper, people tend to grab that wall and on the 2018s it flexes pretty good, so a few people have reported the side bench screws have started to pull out from the wall.  As far as longevity of the floor goes, only time will tell, but I do agree they should warranty it for 5-10 years to put the minds of the early adopters at ease.

I've had the 10.0 with both off road and standard tires and have gone back and forth on this one.  Here is are my two cents:

Offroad Pros:
- I feel more comfortable with the larger tires at highway speeds.
- No issues with dirt roads or pot holes.
- The off road kit came with a 2200 lb. axle, so I was able to carry more gear.
- They really do look great with a truck or jeep.

Offroad Cons:
-  Camper is much higher, so my wife and kids complained about getting in and out.  Easily resolved with a step stool.
-  I find the tongue jack has to be extended to the max with the off road tires to level it out, so it's a bit shaky if you're pushing the camper around your driveway\campsite.

Standard Pros:
-  I noticed about 1 extra mile per gallon with the standard tires.
-  Super smooth when towing.
-  Tongue jack is perfect size and doesn't get fully extended.
-  Looks great with the mini van.

Standard Cons:
-  Although the wife and kids like the step up better, I find the camper to be too low for my tastes and I don't feel as comfortable with dirt roads and pot holes.
-  The standard option came with a 1500 lb. axle, so I can't carry as much weight.

For the long term, once I wear out these standard tires I plan on upgrading to a 2200 lb. axle, lift kit, and 14 inch tires.

Any news on this?

Not much news so far.  I reached out to them on July 31, but was told "the bosses are reviewing it", so once I sent a certified letter I finally got a call back from someone who was in a position to do anything.  They are trying to get it resolved, but have had some major stumbles trying to make it right.  Communication is not proactive and I have to reach out once or twice a week to get a status.  I'm basically treading water at this point and starting to look at other options.

Awesome Mod.  I was researching this last night, so it's great to see your pics.  I'm looking at adding a new axle and lift kit to a QS 10.0, so I can upgrade to 14" tires and increase storage capacity.

And a welcome from Southern MD (Chesapeake Beach).  2018 QS 10.0 and 15 MPG with a Sierra 1500.

I think I like this solution, and the cut out on the outside of the bench provides a little extra floor storage when packed up.  As someone who has a tendency to sit closer to the edge or on corners, I'd be interested in what people say about stability.  Thanks for sharing.
