The tray inside the rear bath is exactly where I found my running light problem in my 21RBS. With no grommet where the wiring goes through the aluminum wall, it only took a few trips for vibration to cut through the insulation and short the wiring. This is probably the worst oversight I have found on my 2015 21RBS.

This turned out to be a dislodged Hepvo trap. I had it repaired by an independent shop who said it was definitely a PITA. He accessed the drain by removing the panel next to the floor in front of the shower. We have had no leaks since the repair. Yet another reason why I'm thankful for an aluminum floor!

Thanks Charlie, this explains a lot but I'm not sure I'll be able to look at it until we get back south. My power panel is on the right side of the trailer while the fridge is on the left. If I understand correctly, I'll need to pull the fridge out to access the drain. It seems  like the shower drain must be above the gray tank since it's not visible from underneath. I suspect my 21RBS is pretty close to your 2014 since it was built in September 2014 as I recall. Thanks for the help!

We're on a fall journey from south Alabama to Wisconsin for the cyclocross World Cup followed by leaf peeping in Door County. Just as we got started, the shower quit draining. I tried all the usual things like hot water, plunger, vinegar/baking soda, all with no results. Next I removed the strainer and tried one of those plastic things with barbs, but still got no results. In desperation I decided to unscrew the drain flange and attempt to clear the clog with a small plumbers snake. The flange loosened a bit but would not come out of the shower pan as expected. I eventually got the drain to flow using long hemostats but unfortunately created a leak onto the floor whenever we use the shower. Assuming I've broken the seal between the shower pan and drain flange, does anyone know how to get the flange up so I can reseal? Since I obviously know nothing about this trailer's plumbing, how much damage have I done? I've called several repair shops and they're all backed up for weeks. I can attempt to send a photo or two if needed. We're in a 2015 21RBS.

Forgot to mention that we're in our 2015 21RBS. Everything is factory original as far as I know. Thanks for any help y'all can suggest!

Here is a photo of the current setup. We decided to go with the xtend & climb wt3 as Charlie suggested. It is much sturdier than the platform step that we have been using. We moved the camper off the driveway in order to accommodate all the construction vehicles. Leveling brought the floor height up a few inches, so the first step is still high. Our 21RBS came with a folding handrail that I assume was standard equipment, so we're just being careful. Thanks to all for your suggestions. I suppose I need remedial archive search lessons since I was unable to find all the old threads on this subject.

Our 2015 21RBS is currently serving us nicely as a bedroom while we remodel our house. Yesterday, Judy had a scary fall due to the almost eleven inch drop down to the top step. She is bruised but otherwise fine. I remember reading about better stairs years ago, but can't seem to find any posts today. I'm thinking a smaller drop with at least two steps could work, but three steps might be better. We don't have the off-road package, so it is roughly 28 inches to the ground from the doorway. It looks like everything on eTrailer will require modifying the mounting points but that can be done by a good welding shop. Has anyone experienced a good solution? I would prefer non-electric aluminum, but will settle for steel if necessary. Our camper has been a joy for several years, and I really appreciate all the good mods and tips from this forum.

Call Challenger Door and they will send you one for about twenty bucks.

It would be nice to have a scrap piece to experiment with, but a Fein tool or one of the many copies should do nicely. Very clean and precise cuts with these tools.
