News and Announcement / Re: Livin'Lite closing down

Perhaps this is not news to any of you but I just found out that Scott Tuttle is now with inTech. I saw their new camper Luna on RV show last month and it is one of the most beautiful and best designed new small campers I have seen in the USA.

with proper faucet we find the sink very useful. No, the sink is original, our camper is the 2011 model (I think), perhaps it looks different.

Installing water heater would be very much possible and rather easy, but we do not have the LP package.

I got the dremel and tided up the installation.

It is rather embarrassing how much time I spent messing with this over the years, I just could not stand the original faucet and after a few different solutions I came up with this setup.

In my previous iterations I used the pump only and the original faucet, but this worked poorly as it is hard to wash hands and push the faucet down at the same time...

The new setup now includes small accumulator tank. With the replaced faucet we can now let the water run very slowly and the pump only kicks in every now and again. Works very well do dishes.

The whole setup is on a piece of plywood so that I can easily remove it for the winter. I will use zip-ties to secure it for the season

While I was at it, I added a little voltage meter that is controlled by a button. The other button control the pump.

The installation would have been better and way easier if I had a dremel tool. I was not worried to much about making a mess there because the plan is to make a larger hole in that panel and insert an outlet cover or similar for a cleaner installation. But first must get that dremel.

For future reference, these seem to be the correct parts for my 8.0, hope it helps to someone one day

Dexter responded super quickly and gave me all the info. I am still not sure what parts to order from etrailer. Looks like the axle is rated for 1500 but all brake assemblies on etrailer are for axles 2000 lb or more. Does it matter?

I am attaching axle info as provided by Dexter.

I want to add electric brakes to my 8.0 but I am having hard time trying to understand the encrypted message that Dexter attached to the axle in order to identify it.

Etrailer sells plenty of drums for 2000 lb axle but is mine 2000 lb?

I have taken some pictures http://imgur.com/a/XtTSG that will hopefully help.

Any idea what brake assemblies and drums to order?

thank you all.

yes, I suppose I will need to dig up the camper from the snow and look for that tag. Any idea on the location of the tag?

thank you, I was just wondering if 10 and 8 use the same axle

I am very glad I found this message board as a refuge from Sean's forum. BTW, is there any risk that the almighty will want to take over this forum as well?

I have my TV all wired up already, just need to finish installing the brake controller. Now I want to buy all the parts for the trailer.

Could any of you technical geniuses quickly look at this post and determine if the proposed bits are correct also for my 8.0?

The installation seem to be simple enough.

Thanks!
