After calculating the time off from work to go and drop off the trailer and then another trip possibly weeks later to pick it up I decided to tackle the problems myself.
I ordered all the parts I think I need to fix the water heater, it's probably just the auto ignite circuit board so I ordered one from Dinosaur Electronics http://www.dinosaurelectronics.com/, it is quite an upgrade to the original Chinese board that comes in the Suburban hot water heater.

I will also yank the entire WFCO inverter system and install a Progressive Dynamics system like I had in the Livin Lite.
I am sure any dealer would weasel out of billing Forest River and I'd probably get stuck with a $1200.00 bill for $300.00 worth of parts.

Hello Livin Lite, how about your designers coming up with some competition for the little camper market!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll buy the first one.

When we went to purchase the R-Pod our local dealer said they wouldn't have one until the end of the year, we had no choice but to drive two hours to Texas and purchase it over there.

Our new R-pod 180 made the trip to Colorado and back with very few issues, the hot water heater won't light and the batteries wont charge through the inverter on shore power. I made some calls to the manufacturer of the trailer and the appliances and got zero help.

When we returned home I called the local R-Pod dealer and asked if I could get it serviced and they said no problem, I brought the trailer to them and the service manager asked me where I purchased it, I explained to him I was ready to purchase the R-Pod from them but they didn't have one for the foreseeable future. He said they will not service a trailer that was not purchased from them.

Every time I had a question about my Livin Lite I could call or e-mail  the factory and get a response within hours.
As soon as Livin Lite comes up with a cool small travel trailer I will dump this Forest River product immediately and purchase another Livin Lite.

Yes, the R-Pod is neat, but there is absolutely no support out there, they are simply too big to address any concerns from their customers.

The pod or main body is 77" wide, the 96" is the dimension to the outside of tires, the TBS has the wheels under the trailer whereas the R-pod and the 6x15 have the wheels on the outside of body.

We settled on a R-Pod 180. I drove to Texas and picked it up, sold the Livin Lite then we headed to Colorado an hour later. I sold the Livin Lite for $4000.00 more than the R-Pod cost me.
It is perfect for a couple, full dry bath with sink and shower, queen bed, small dinette, the same air conditioner that was on the Livin Lite but has the remote thermostat and the auto cycle turns the unit off and on, also it's much quieter inside.
We spent our first night in it two days ago and it's nice not sleeping in the flip out tent.
I would hope Livin Lite designs a "pod" type trailer like these one day, I kind of like the single axle setup, it pulls great with no sway behind a Tundra.
We looked at the 16TBS and I decided I didn't want to go wider than 6.5 or 7ft the little pod is 6.5ft wide and I'm loving the extra 2-3 extra mpg.

The 6x15 trailer is going to a good home today, after looking at the title and registration it is actually a 2014 model.

I have a 6x15 and never weighed the tongue, but it definitely lowers the rear of my full size Tundra a little.I believe the stated weights are underated.

I wasn't concerned at all about pulling the trailer because it was supposed to be around 3000 pounds, I soon discovered it's the frontal area hitting the wind that puts the load on the vehicle, mileage dropped from 18mpg to 9-10 which is the same others get with the same truck towing 26ft 8000 lb trailers.

I looked at a 7x20 after I purchased mine and the frontal area is huge compared to the 6x15.

Just my thoughts, frontal area is a big factor, just ask anyone towing a little R-Pod trailer that the dealer said can be towed with a small vehicle.

We are considering parting ways with our toyhauler to make room for another unit dedicated to camping such as a Camplite 16TBS.
This was one of the last of the originals before the buyout by Thor.
We purchased it for transporting art to shows which we only did a couple of times. It has never had any type of vehicle in it except for our tandem bicycle.
Will consider trade for the right 16TBS with dual axles.

Ramp door cable system to convert door to deck.
Battery disconnect switch.
Trimetrics battery monitor.
Indoor/outdoor temperature.

I was so impressed with the seal on my aluminum roof, I contacted Livin Lite and requested to know what product it was.
They said it was Manus Bond, I believe the 76-AM.

I had the same issues you had with the low plumbing, the only thing I did differently was to cut out those cheap wire crimped junctions on the electric brake wires and use solder and heat shrink tubing when you lengthen the wires.

I  also encountered a large amount of chips when I removed the access panel behind the inverter, this area is vulnerable to damage from chips since the rear of the inverter is open for cooling.

The ceiling light fixture lenses seem to always have chips fall into them, and I am constantly removing chips from the front storage compartment after each trip.
