It's there....it's an orange box above the signature of the post on the left....  I just noticed it.

A couple of years ago at the Hershey show I discussed these with the owner of the safetystrut company.   I showed him some picturess of the camplite bumper.   Long story short these would not work due to interfering with the tail-lights built into the bumper being right where these brackets need to go.    Regardless He was super nice, genuinely wanted to help and clearly believes in his product.

Sorry to hear about your theft.    Someone attempted to open a credit card online in my name last summer.    I still don't have any idea where or how they got my info.   I am very careful about my info so it was puzzliing.   Afterward I got the Costco version of lifelock.  It's called complete ID.   It's $10 a month.   You can log on any time an view your info, 3 credit scores, and see if anyone tries to open a fraudulent credit account or other questionable activity.   It will email you automatically if it notices anything unusual which it did do once early on so it does work and does give me SOME peace of mind.

Welcome.   I towed a 16DB with my my Frontier CCSB.   I never used sway or weight control, but  I put Timbren bump stops on the back and it towed great.    I agree a few gallons of fresh water is always a good idea for multiple reasons.

Livin Lite General Discussion / Re: Livin Lite website

Great find!   I actually didn't know there was pink fiberglass in the roof between the roof trusses in addition to the foam core in the roof itself.

If you order from Discount Tire Direct, do you have to pay someone else to mount and balance?

I think you can have them sent directly to a local tire shop if you wish at checkout   They tell you what the cost is to mount balence stems, etc when you select the tire shop if you go that route.

I'm wondering if reflectix would be effective for that purpose.   It's very thin and there's no way you could pop the bubbles under the mattress your weight would be distributued.    I know Home Depot/Lowes sells it in 4ft wide rolls.   I think the rolls are 25 ft.?   You'd be able to double or triple it up.

Regardless of the hitch make sure you get one with the right pin-pattern I think ours are 1.5 x 8.   Many are 2 x 8 or 2.5 x8.   Also pay attention to the length from hitch pin to bolt pattern.   Getting something shorter may limit your turning.    I looked around a bit early on but didn't find anything I liked.     I don't get much chuck with mine so am living with it.    It's not as plug and play as it might seem at first glance.

No advice in the BHB, but my 2013 16DB was flawless.     I never had a single issue and towed behind my old Nissan Frontier perfectly without any swaybar, etc.

In looking at some of the new prices for Camplites, are they cutting the prices?  I have seen a 11 for 17,900, a 14 for 20,9oo and a 16tbs for 23,900. All of these were on RV Trader in the past couple of days

Per seedealercost.com:
11FK: Invoice: 14295 plus 2500 for xl package
14DB: invoice:18195    """
14DBS: invoice: 19395  """"
16TBS: invoice: 20595  """"

So it sounds like the pricing you found is around 900 over invoice..ish.    Not to bad really in the RV market.

I must admit that I stopped paying attention to the prices once I purchased my Camplite in 2014. However, considering that now there is a membrane roof and a composite floor, these prices seem too high.

After having both roofs and floors  I politely agree with you about the roof (except when it's pouring down rain...I do not miss that noise!) and I politely disagree with you on the composite floor...I haven't found any real-world negatives after 15 months of ownership.

Hey jlcere!   Glad to see you made it over here!   Have you done any cold weather camping yet?   I haven't done anything colder than the 40s at night.   Toasty warm with only a space heater.
