Congrats! Love my 14DBS got 3 years and 25,000 miles on it and it still looks brand new. Just got back from a long weekend camping trip.

Very cool thanks for sharing.

Did you pull the light in question and check to see if there are any aluminum shaving in there. I had one light inside my camper that would come on by itself and the shavings were the issue.

I did the same upgrade as Merlin, works great.

Just compared the new 14DBS specs to mine a 2015 14DBS. New Single axle Mine Dual, new weighs 220lbs more than old. Old can haul 860 pounds more than new. New holds 12 gallons less fresh water than old. Of course I have upgraded a lot of items in mine so it's even better than new. Mine has 20,000 miles on it and still looks new, love the all aluminum.

Great idea thanks Merlin!

Just had to drop and clean out my light above the bed for a second time in 2 years. It appears shavings are still working their way thru the wiring duct into the top of the light.

Also dual axle versus single on newer 14DBS.

Just coming up on the 2 year mark for me, I have done 2 long trips one 6 weeks and the other 5 weeks both took me across the country. A few 1 week trip's and quite a few long weekend trips. Have about 20,000 miles on it and will be putting a lot more. Have done most of the mods from the other forum and have had some of the issues that most people are seeing. Roof looks fine no leaks anywhere. I think I may have the best year of construction 2015, which was probably made in 2014. Loving it and will probably never sell it until I can't camp anymore, suits me to a T.

I was at the Saguaro West National Park with my grandkids and daughter on my 62nd Birthday to get my pass. Saved a bunch of money with it. Just a few months ago I discovered the Army Corps of Engineers campsite that ring Nashville. Stayed in a beautiful campsite for a week $9 a night with water and electric and only 20 minutes from west Nashville.
