I picked one up from Amazon and it is good quality (better than the original).  https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076H7NHRG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

If you have an adjustable trailer brake control in the TV try turning it down a bit.

Nice, we have a smaller version. We camp a lot in addition to taking it to the track with the car inside. Add some throw rugs and they become nice camp trailers.

The BLMs are great but if you are traveling through Oregon I highly recommend the State Parks.

I was just thinking about some people who posted on the previous forum, some of whom I met in person, and they aren't here.

What has happened to Ammobob who went fishing with pinstriper?

What had happened to Shovelhead whom I met in South Carolina, had a knee replacement, and hasn't made it here to this forum?

Who else is missing?

Last I heard they were building a new house this year and were dropping off the RV scene for a while. I was thinking of him the other day as we are at the moment camping is Silver Falls SP where he stayed on the way to the outing last year.

Love Silver Falls except it always seems to rain a bit when we stay there.

My 2013 8518 VRV toy hauler has a 3/2012 manufacture date. We purchased it in March 2013. I pulled it out of storage today and went over everything once I had it home. The welds on my VRV look very well done and are complete with no cracks. The manufacture sticker shows a GVW of 6,000 lbs but I have other paperwork that indicates the axles are the Dexter 3,500 lbs axles (dual axle) and I'm sure the dealer (along with the old Livin Lite web site) listed 7,000 lbs GVW for this model. Ran it over a ODOT Highway scale today (they let you run through closed weigh stations in Oregon) and it came in at 3,800 lbs fairly empty. When I have had it completely loaded up with my race car and everything needed for an event it has tipped the scales at 5,800 lbs.

Actually, Oregon won the very first NCAA B-Ball tournament in 1939 :-)

Livin Lite General Discussion / Re: Shower base
March 09, 2017, 11:47:48 PM
On my 2013 VRV I failed to properly drain the water in the shower head and a freeze broke a pipe that was part of the shower controls. The leak drained down the wall and came out under the shower pan when the water was on. In the VRV there is a panel in the cabinet behind the shower that allowed access to the controls. It was fairly easy to access and fix. Might want to check there first.

We hand wash with automotive car wash soap.
Then about twice a year we hand wax with automotive wax.
The wax seems to make the bugs and grime wash off easily.

Same as Driversteve. Use a brush and car wash soap then wax early in the year and before it gets stored in the in-laws barn for the winter.
