Stu Beans is always late to the party, lol

With Sanford in mind...I would look at Oak Hammock Fish Camp (although not sure how long a stay they allow), and that has full hookups and sits on a great lake. You can always go fancy in the same area and look at Resorts at Canopy Oaks or Camp Margaritaville, but both will be expensive (but its nice to have a bar and live music!). I have tours of those three on our channel (playlist link below)

We just started our camping season this past weekend, and checked out Key Lime RV resort, which is 10. miles from our house...had to see it and get footage (should be done editing soon), and then in Dec, we're checking out Surf RV resort, down in Palmetto. None of these are rustic, these are new, fancy, and certainly more expensive than state parks. The upside is they usually have space. You probably already know its hard as heck to get any state park space without booking 11 months out.

You can also check out the lesser known spots in Withlacoochee State Forest (not part of the state park reservation systems), if that is not far out of your way. Those have elec/water and dump stations, and I have tours of those on our channel (Cypress Glen, Silver Lake, Holder Mine) on https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLVk2EsBQ1G6F73bcU4hh4OO3tFhZUqMfb

This is the forest booking site -  https://floridastateforests.reserveamerica.com/

If you want to email me your prospective dates and preferred travel route, I can try to help further. levst02@gmail.com

All the best,
Stu

This really falls into the 'why didnt I think of this sooner categories'. Mesh tarp from Harbor Freight (30 bucks), light clips from Amazon (10 bucks), some tent stakes and done. Here's the quick video...

We went to the Tampa RV show earlier this week and focused on the 'more aluminum' products....my first stop was Intech to see the Terra Oasis. Here is the footage of the walkthrough - https://youtu.be/VJ0MuJl3Je0

I also asked about Scott Tuttle. He's still there....they're designing a fifth wheel....and i was told he opened a restaurant!

Livin Lite General Discussion / Re: Televisions
January 23, 2022, 10:41:59 AM
in my rig, i have a 32 TCL smart roku tv (cheap, but good!) which i connect to my iphone for internet access. Since my signal is not always strong enough (even with the weeboost), my alternatives are:
1 - downloaded movies to my usb drive
2- stream from iphone to TV via physical adapter cable.

For sound, I use a bluetooth transmitter, which I then connect to a bluetooth speaker, where I can move that around anywhere in the camper. I can also connect that same transmitter to bluetooth earbuds, for when I watch TV at night, but the sound wont bother my wife.

A Small privately owned campground on Lake Pierce. Excellent if you like fishing or kayaking on a lake. Very quiet. Cabins for your non-rv'ing friends. Super nice owners. 30 minutes from Disney stuff.

Our video tour and review, including an interview with the owners - https://youtu.be/RX6jkP2zRpM

This is our second (of three available in FLA) camping trip to a COE designed campsite, St Lucie South Campground, in Stuart FL. The only thing missing is lots of shade.

Here's our little wacky video, along with a bike ride tour through the campgrounds. Also our first trip since bringing home the 21rbs.

Happy Camping!
