I am considering lifting my 26RLS to better match up to my tow vehicle. There is a kit available from http://perfectcasita.com/casita-axle-lift-kit.html. I have Lippert 5200# a torsion axles. I found an old thread from livinlite forum that addressed this but, the thread died out.
Has anyone done this lift application?
I'm hoping it will give me additional wheel well clearance and allow for a slightly larger wheel/tire than the stock 15" rims.
With so few 5th wheels made it might hard finding people who even own them, let alone ones who have lifted them. Haven't seen many who have lifted the travel trailers either.
As long as the lift kit can support the weight and doesn't make the trailer higher than freeway overpasses then it should be doable.
