Title: Laminated Cabinet Doors Bubbling
Post by: dlb53151 on August 01, 2018, 08:53:14 PM
Has anyone experienced bubbling on the surface of the cabinet door surfaces?  If so, how did you fix it? I assume perhaps it is from the humidity level in the unit.

Looking to see if anyone has removed bad interior cabinet door surface "wallpaper" to replace it with new.  This is the "bubbling" I am referring to.

I have some very slight signs of this; bathroom vanity IIRC. Haven't looked into a fix.

I have this on a few of our doors.  Annoying but is what it is for now.  Am guessing it would be quite expensive to have the doors re-papered.

Thought I would try to reignite this post to see if any 'new intel' on cabinet door fixes for the bubbling surface.

I haven't had the bubbling but could you take a high resolution photo and have a vinyl wrap printed and cut to match from one of the custom vehicle wrap shops?

We're just living with it for now.  In the spring I'll take another look and see if I can somehow smooth it out.
