Title: Slide rubbing on floor
Post by: Gary M on July 11, 2018, 12:01:29 AM
Anyone else ever have the bottom of the dinette slide rub on the floor like this? It definitely didn't do this when I bought it, and I wonder if it's related to the adjacent wall separating from my floor. Storage compartments are empty by the way, so it's not a weight issue. It looks like the wood is going to break soon though.

Guessing it is related to the wall issue.

If the camper wall is kicked out at the bottom the slide travel will also have a slight angle and in this case it is enough to push that trim piece into the floor near the end of the travel.

Or related to the floor bubbling issue.  :-\

I just got the go ahead from KZ/LL support to get a repair estimate for all these issues today. Hopefully they can fix all this.

I'd be willing to bet that the rubbing issue is related to the wall separation.  A slight shift could mess up the alignment.

I'm think so too. Mainly because it didn't start doing this until the wall issue presented itself.
