Title: Radiant Floor Heating
Post by: nhlakes on June 28, 2018, 07:42:55 AM
Has anyone been following the radiant floor heat available by Alde?

So far I believe it is only available on a few new units, but would love to see an aftermarket version of this for those who use our cold floor campers all season long.   Not sure how much it would raise the floor height, but I love the concept of combining the hot water heater with a radiant heat system that would be basically silent.

I think our LL RVs would be a perfect candidate.
You could lace the radiant piping under the RV in the slots in the aluminum floors and insulate to prevent losing heat from below.
The aluminum would conduct the heat well and the only areas to heat would be the living space and bath floor.
I am thinking about this as a future mod.
