Title: Quicksilver 8.5x16 Toy Hauler
Post by: RMS on May 30, 2018, 09:15:10 PM
My new to me Toy Hauler is a 2010. I would like to mount E Track on the walls. Can anyone tell me what the construction is on these trailers? Metal studs? Any recommendations on fastening the E Track?

Thanks

Bob

As I recall, the wall construction is very similar to the cabinet framing.  I think the aluminum square stock is larger, but other than that it's about the same.

I put L-Track on the rear deck of my 6.0 and I think it's great stuff.  However, I wouldn't put it on the walls of my camper.  The walls weren't designed to support that kind of load, and I wouldn't want to be faced with trying to repair a bent wall.  Just my opinion, but it's free.

Thanks for the info. If I install E Track on the walls it won't be supporting a lot of weight.

Helmet, canopy sitting on top of the wheel well.

Regards

Bob

You can send living lite an email and ask for the cut sheet for your trailer model. I requested one and they sent it for my 8.5x28. It shows all the stud locations with measurements. Now remember they may deviate slightly from it.
