Title: Fixing a broken zipper ....
Post by: whitecastleman on May 30, 2018, 09:44:01 AM
One of the zippers on the door of my QS 8.0 is broken.  Looking at the door from the outside it is the zipper on the left side.  The teeth of the zipper are separated all the way from the top to the bottom and there doesn't seem to be any way to push the bottom of the two ends together since the pull is facing the opposite direction.  On my last trip I just used a couple of small clamps to hold the two sides of the door together.  Anybody else have a problem like this?  Solution?

With the tent down, you might be able to put the zipper on a hard surface and work the teeth back together behind the slide, but if it came apart once, it will probably do it again.

It's probably best to just take the tent to a local awning company that can replace the zipper.

You should look into the Fixnzip, you can find on Amazon.
