I have the following mount on the side of my camplite. What do I need to buy to mount a tv there?

Maybe this

Looks like that would work, but you should check the measurements to make sure it fits. Was that mounted at the factory? Mounts usually come with both pieces, so I would have expected them to send you the VESA side of the mount.

Yes it was installed at the factory. I didn't get the other pieces with it

Is the interior mount the same? The mating piece may be on the back of your interior TV so you can switch locations. Just a thought.

I thought about it but no it's not the same. The one inside is bolted to the wall

I assume you mean the mount is bolted to the wall. However, on the back of the TV is there an interface between the TV and the mount that looks like it would work on the exterior mount?

This is how my indoor tv mount looks like. It seem strange to me that they put that in the outside and didn't provide the other piece for it

That's the same mount as in my 2013 21BHS. The TV just screws to the wall mount. It's a shame they didn't provide a similar mount as the external so you could easily remove the TV from the wall mount and take it outside to the external mount. Are there any connections for the TV utside near the mount?
On a positive note, how do you like the new camper?

Yes it's a shame! I ordered one I hope it will fit. There is a tv connection on the outside near the mount. Will take a pictures tomorrow

I really like it! I will do my first trip with it the weekend of May 18 to Kouchibouguac National Park then I will bring it to my seasonal site to live in it for the summer. We plan to do a couple of trips with it during long weekends

Enjoy your first trip. You're going to love the camper. Our 21BHS has been terrific.

Sorry to be a party pooper but you may find the outside TV jack doesn't work.
On my 2018 16TBS they hooked it up wrong in the ceiling.
I really wish the ugly TV mount wasn't on the side of mine- I'll never use it. Not only that but mine is steel so it will begin rusting at some point.

While my 2016 doesn't have that outside mount if it did I would buy the companion piece and mock up a small table to hold sunscreen, bug spray, etc. Might be a little bit of work to figure something out but it would be a fun project and be a very useful addition.
I took a chance and ordered a tv mount from ebay and it work

Apollo, you could remove the mount and buys some stainless steel screws add a little sealant to put in holes. Maybe a automotive store touch up paint choices might comes close to a match to paint the screw heads. Just an idea.
Looks like this is something else they changed on the newer models Paul, because mine came with the same mount outside as the one that they used on the inside. My only dilemma now is if I should replace the AC outlet with a DC one.
Ah I guess maybe they used the rest of the old stock for the TV mount with mine ? Because the one inside is bolted directly to the wall there is no way to unhook the TV other than removing the screws. It's nice if you can move yours from inside and outside. Can you take a picture of the mount inside?
Here's the inside... same mount, just slide it up to remove.
I decided to install my tv to use outside and don't bother with one inside for now. We only watch tv when our daughter is sleeping and we can't watch it inside because that would wake her up. So we watch it outside! Later when she is older I might buy a second TV to mount inside or just move this one inside and stop using it outside

That's a better design than mine!
