How do I go about replacing my fender. My fender cracked from extreme cold presumably, nothing hit it just cracked and broken in four places. Is this covered under the two-year warranty. Only the one on the door side cracked. The one underneath the slide is fine. Has anybody else experienced this on any type of travel trailer or fifth wheel. Can use some help. Thank you Mr Smith
PS sorry for the dubble post. :-\
Can you post a photo? I'm not sure what you mean by "fender". If there was no accident damage, I would think it should be covered under warranty. Is your dealer close enough for them to take a look? If you mean the plastic lining of the wheel well, it should be easily replaceable, but you'd have to get the part from LL.
Agree, stick with this thread.
On my 2013 16TBS there is a black about 6" wide skirt that surrounds the wheel well opening. It is held in place with a half dozen Torx or square head screws. Camping World has a couple of pages of them but i can't find a match. They cost about $100+ each.
If it split, then maybe when it was cold and the plastic was brittle, something bumped into it. I really doubt if it would split just sitting there.
Easy to replace, just unscrew the old and screw back the new. LL will usually ship you a replacement part if it is an easy DIY installation.

Nothing bump the camper, I noticed the cracks on the night the temperature was -12゚F. The only tracks to and from my camper are my footprints to check on it and modify it every other night minimum. Thank you Mr. Smith
Now that looks strange. Is it possible that water got behind it?
Ours fell off driving and it got hit by a semi. Did you find a replacement?
MrSmith, Here's a site I googled fender trim. I would take the fender trim off and see if there is a part number on the back side of the unit. That might help narrow it down. The second site has a part number listing with all the sizes listed so you could take measurements and narrow down your search that way.
This site look promising lots of choices. http://www.icondirect.com/categories/RV-Exterior-Parts/Fender-Skirts/Tandem-Fender-Skirts/,
Here's another site with measurements that might help figure out what size it is and mfr listing (Thor) http://lookup-our-skirts.com/, http://lookup-our-skirts.com/dimensions/tandem.html
Sorry for not replying sooner, just finished moved to Central Texas. I called my dealer and they sent me a new fender in the mail free of charge. Thank you for all your help. Mr Smith
