Title: Fiberglass or aluminum side?
Post by: Paul on September 27, 2017, 03:48:30 PM
I ordered a 2018 21BHS in Blue with aluminum side. Livin lite contacted me and said that the blue color is now only available for Fiberglass. They offered me to switch fiberglass at no cost.   Should I just change color or switch to fiberglass?  Is the new options with the platinum package worth it?

Hmmmm.........

I know others weighed in on aluminum vs fiberglass in your other thread and I don't know enough about fiberglass to add anything. I like the options that come with the platinum package, in particular the enclosed and heated underbelly. If the fiberglass sides they offered come with the platinum package at no cost, I would be tempted to pick another color that goes well with your truck and go for it!

Livin lite took the time to explain me the difference and I have decided it was a good choice to switch to the platinum package. So I will get a blue fiberglass 21BHS

Thanks for posting that LL info. It all looks pretty good. When you get the camper, post back on how the underbelly cover looks.

They seem to be using a better fiberglass quality with no luan backing like most travel trailer do. And it's going to match my blue truck!
