Title: Camping with a Dog and the CO detector
Post by: USCG on August 06, 2017, 04:19:49 AM
IF you follow the Livin Lite Facebook page you've seen this post, if not, here is your notice to BEWARE!!!

Dog farts will set off your CO detector.  :o  ;D

It happened the other night at 3 am.  I always turn off my propane tank when I'm not using gas (and sleeping), so it really shocked me to wake up to a beeping detector, only thing I could smell was her.  Oh, and she had real bad gas because she had knocked the grill over and ate our hamburgers before they were cooked (I didn't mention that on facebook)

(for those "hawk eyes" I will post more about my modifications to the area where the detector is when i'm completely done, I'm 90% finished with converting the jack knife couch into a dinette, just have the finish work left, a full report in a week or two)

Actually it is the LP detector they set off- it reacts to a number of flammable gases! ;)
