Hello. We just purchased a Camp Lite 14DB and it is due to arrive on July 7th. We have been motor home travelers for 30 years but have never used a trailer. This trailer is for my adult daughter who is leaving for a traveling nurse job and plans to combine her love of camping, climbing and hiking with her career in ER nursing. Any advice on basic needs for towing. We will have to purchase a hitch when it arrives, of course, and looking for economical but reliable/safe options for her. Needless to say she is on a very tight budget!
We also belong to IRV2 and the Livin Lite Forum. The more information the better when you start off on a new adventure such as this. We will have about 7 days to prep before she will be leaving. Her Dad will accompany her on the drive from Metro Detroit to Yosemite (first position in Mariposa). We selected this trailer for durability, the right floor plan, size and clearance. She will be using her 2012 F150 Ecoboost truck to tow the trailer. We feel pretty confident in helping her prep based on our RVing experience, but will be grateful for any advice regarding trailer towing/living from the forums. Thanks in advance!

I tow a 16 TBS with a 2013 F-150 with no issues so she has a good TV. I added sway control since LL are so light but I think I would have been fine without it. Good luck and Happy Trails.
Is she going to live in it while working/camping or will she have a permanent residence and use the camper when she has time?
Welcome! You've come to great place for ideas on camping/living with the Camplite campers. It sounds like your daughter is in for a life of adventure, in many ways! That's a great camper/tow vehicle combo from what I've seen posted on threads here.
In the 7 days prep time, I suggest you completely check out all the camper's systems and take it for some test tows. Don't assume anything! Do the checks of the main systems like plumbing, electrical, A/C, furnace, tires/brakes, and cooktop early in the prep period so if anything needs attention you'll have time to get it right.
Plan on getting a better mattress and plan on vacuuming aluminum shavings from cabinets and storage areas (LL doesn't seem to own a vacuum).
I would not hesitate to spend extended time in our Camplite. They are very comfortable, well set up campers.
For getting around the park without driving (which can be tough in Yosemite), I wonder if a bicycle might be a good investment?
