Title: Couch & Dinette Strap Placement
Post by: PebblePrincess on May 30, 2017, 01:59:11 PM
Has anyone relocated the straps that hold the couch and dinette up for transport? Mine mount inside the window, which blocks the use of the blinds while everything is folded up. I want to move the straps to above the window using the screws on the bottom side of the cabinets but am unsure of the strain they might have. If recommendations? I'll post pictures if needed.

Here is how the straps were originally mounted. As you can see this blocks access to the blinds.

This is where I moved it to. I removed one of he screws already in the trim of the cabinet and added the webbing strap and anchor.

Unfortunately the bench side webbing straps are too short so I will have to by more webbing before finishing.
