Added a sink to the TBS today by changing the shower faucet and hanging a sink. All ideas that I got on this forum.
Chappy133,
Fine looking installation!
Clap, clap, cheer, cheer!
I know I got the info for this addition on this or the old forum but I do not know who to credit.
Nice work. You were probably looking at (and using) the info that Merlin put on the old forum. I think he was the one that originally did this, but I could be wrong.
hey chappy...what is the brand/model number for the sink you used? also...how does it mount? does it have a rail or something?
i take it the drain line just ends right above the shower drain?
thanks for the info
Looks great Chappy133! 8)
I'd love to do that in my small but mighty CL11FDB but I'm worried the wet bath is too small.
How many inches does your sink stick out? How wide? Where did you source the sink & tap?
Sink is from d&w inc http://www.dwincorp.com/products/98/Handy-Sink
Sink is 13.5 x 10.5 but is removalable since it hangs on a bar. The drain can go to the shower drain or or a jug to save the grey tank capacity. The sink is not going to remain in place during travel.
The faucet was from Amazon:
Phoenix PF223261 Catalina 4in Bath Faucet, White https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002P35N7A/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_JbYQyb72NMSEN

We leave ours in place while underway and have had no problems. It stays on the rail just fine. And we run the drain hose to a small bucket that gets dumped into the black tank (toilet) to save grey tank space, since for us grey tank capacity is always the limiting factor. And we installed a hand soap dispenser in the empty hole on the right.
